COULING: On Monday, September 21, 2015, Myrna Eva Couling, age 75 years, passed away at the Brandon Regional Health Centre. Born and raised on the farm in Baldur, Manitoba, as a young adult, Myrna moved to Wawanesa. This is where she met the love of her life, Neil Couling. After moving to Dauphin for Neil's career, they started their family. Career opportunities also took them to Melville, Saskatchewan, Wawanesa, and lastly Brandon, where they resided for the past 46 years. Myrna worked various jobs including: Wawanesa Mutual, Chalet Restaurant, Redwood Motel, Elegant Lady, and she was owner and partner of Promises Bridal. Family was always her first priority. When not at work, Myrna could be found gardening, painting or crafting. Remaining to cherish Myrna's memory are her husband of 56 years, Neil; daughters Barbara (Morley) Jack, Faye Couling (Gary Quinn), Kerri (Peter) Metelski, Debbie Jo (Ron) Fontaine; grandchildren, Cherise (Robert), Lindsay (Ryan), Marlee, Rebecca (Nick), Tamara (Mike), Jessica, Caitlin, Jordan, Eric; and great-grandchildren Taylor, Damon, Isaiah. Also surviving are sisters Elaine Heirman, Greta (Gene) Melnychuk; mother-in -law Vera Munn; sister-in-law Myrna Scribner and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Jim and Edith Wilson, fathers -in-law Bill Couling and Dalton Munn; as well as brothers -in-law Herb Yeo, Julian Heirman, and Glen Couling. The Ceremony to Celebrate Myrna's Life will be held at Memories Chapel, 330 18th Street North, Brandon on Saturday, September 26, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Glenna Beauchamp officiating. A private interment will take place at Rosewood Memorial Gardens.
